Cancellation Policy - FIT/GIT - Normal Period

• Cancellation of rooms for any FIT/GIT , series or groups made within 10 days will be subjected to cancellation fee of 50% of the total stay, i.e. 50% x number of room booked x number of room nights x room/s rate.
• Cancellation of rooms for any FIT/GIT, series or groups made within 06 days or No Show on date of arrival, will be subjected to cancellation fee of 100% of the total stay, i.e. 100% x number of room/s booked x number of room nights x room rate.
• Cancellation (shorten stay) made by guest during their stay at the hotel will be subject to full room charges for the whole duration of their reservations. i.e. 100% x number of room/s booked x number of room nights x room rate. No refunds will be given and no further notification will be advised by the hotel.

Peak period dates - 15 June 2008 - 31 August 2008, 20 December 2008 - 7 January 2009

• Cancellation of rooms for any FIT/GIT, series or groups made within 17 days will be subjected to cancellation fee of 50% of the total stay, i.e. 50% x number of room booked x number of room nights x room/s rate.

• Cancellation of rooms for any FIT/GIT, series or groups made within 10 days or No Show on date of arrival, will be subjected to cancellation fee of 100% of the total stay, i.e. 100% x number of room/s booked x number of room nights x room rate.
• Cancellation (shorten stay) made by guest during their stay at the hotel will be subject to full room charges for the whole duration of their reservations. i.e. 100% x number of room/s booked x number of room nights x room rate. No refunds will be given and no further notification will be advised by the hotel.

General Cancellation Policy (010408-310309)

• More than 17 days before arrival – No charge.
• Between 11 to 17 days – 25% charge.
• Between 07 to 10 days – 50% charge.
• 06 days or less – 100% charge.
• Any “No Show” for meal reservation will be billed as guaranteed, if notice of cancellation is not received within 04 days.

VMY Packages Cancellation Policy (010408-310309)

• More than 17 days before arrival – No charge.
• Between 11 to 17 days – 25% charge.
• Between 07 to 10 days – 50% charge will be imposed upon cancellation once guaranteed is advice or take effect (a 04 days dateline will be given to agent to guarantee the booking).
• Between 05 to 06 days – 75% charge will be imposed upon cancellation once guaranteed is advice or take effect (a 04 days dateline will be given to agent to guarantee the booking).
• Within 05 days or “No Show” - 100% charge.
• Any guaranteed booking of minimum (05 rooms and above) is allowed an amendment of up to a maximum of 02 rooms without charge between 05 to 10 days prior to check in.

After commencement of service, no refund, in part or full, will be given for services included in the package programme, which have not been utilized.

Note: Amount refunded will be after minus bank charges/card transaction charges and 5% administrative charges.

• 30% of the trip’s full price forfeited.
• From 17 days to arrival date in Sabah
• 50% of the trip’s full price forfeited.
• From 10 days to arrival date in Sabah
• 75% of the trip’s full price forfeited.

• 100% of the trip’s full price forfeited.

In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

• Confirmation date to 33 days before arrival in Sabah
• 25% of the trip’s full price forfeited.
• From 32 days to 18 days before arrival in Sabah.
• 50% of the trip’s full price forfeited.
• From 17 days to arrival in Sabah
• 75% of the trip’s full price forfeited.
• ‘No Show’ by customer
• 100% of the trip’s full price forfeited.

Entry Permit Applications To Sipadan Island

All daily entry to dive or visit to Sipadan Island will be subject to approval by the Sabah Park Management, which is in control of issuing the entry permit. The total number of visitors allowed to visit Sipadan Island is restricted now to 120 pax per day. The fee for Entry Permit to Sipadan Island is to be paid directly to the resort @ RM 40.00 per person per day for divers, visitors and children. This entry permit can be applied during the booking period but there is no guarantee that it will be approved. Please take note that the entry permit fee to Sipadan Island will not be refunded once it is applied and approved. Should the entry permit to Sipadan Island be not approved, we can offer arrangement to dive at Islands like Si Amil, Roach Reef, Kapalai or Mabul where there are no restrictions.

Cancellation/No Show Policies.

Any cancellation made within 3 to 6 days, notice given to the hotel are charged a one night “cancellation” fee, equal to the contracted rates as mentioned.

No Show/Cancellation in less than 3 days

In the event that a guest fails to arrive at the hotel for a confirmed reservation or cancellation made in less than 3 days prior to arrival, a full duration of stay will be applicable, equal to the contracted rate.

Cancellation/No Show Policies.

• FIT bookings during normal and peak periods will require a minimum cancellation notice period of 18 days prior to arrival.
• Cancellation before the 17 days periods, there will be no charges or penalty.
• Cancellation within the 17 days period, there will be one night charge cancellation. There may be additional applicable charges and taxes.
• Short stay at the villas-the remaining number of days at the villas will be charge accordingly.
• In the event of no show, the tour operator shall be held responsible for the payment computed on the equivalent for the full length of stay.
