Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur has been a significant part of the Kuala Lumpur cityscape since 1973. After 38 years of service, the hotel will undergo a comprehensive redevelopment - which will involve a reconstruction of the current property. This will invariably require an indefinite suspension of operations until such time when the hotel has been re-constructed.

The hotel will not take bookings for or accommodate guests for stays beyond 31 March 2012.  However, bookings for stays before 01 April will naturally be honoured accordingly. The date that the hotel will cease operation in its current form is April 2012.
